Overview

Responsible for staff allocation for all Phoenix Metro Valley clinics, inclusive of both front and back-office positions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for staff allocation for all Phoenix Metro Valley clinics, inclusive of both front and back office positions.
  • Creates team schedules a minimum of 4 weeks in advance, based on business needs, staffing models, and availability. This includes approval of time off requests.
  • Provides rapid analysis of current business needs vs available coverage and provides solutions to clinic leadership for best utilization of resources when call outs occur.
  • Works closely with management team to identify coverage options when a clinic is short staffed.
  • Serve as point of contact for all staff call outs to reallocate teammates as necessary. Available for calls from 6 AM to 6 PM.
  • Encourages a team-oriented environment and follows company guidelines and policies.
  • Participates in on-going training and continuing education.
  • Shows respect and deals appropriately with co-workers, patients and visitors.
  • Performs any and all duties as reasonable assigned.

 

The job holder must demonstrate current competencies applicable to the job position. Every employee is required to remain updated on company policies and affairs through appropriate sources, such as internal employee website.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of ophthalmology management experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong production planning aptitude and computer skills, including adaptability to new programs and workflows.
  • Working knowledge of all aspects regarding optometric/ophthalmologic care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Personable; empathetic with the needs and concerns of the clinical team, physicians, and leaders.
  • Detail oriented, reliable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment
  • Ability to problem solve and make decisions
  • Working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Office. Must be adaptable to new programs and technology.
